How should I format my callsign when flying for LGVA?
Add “LG” at the end of your airline callsign.
Examples:
Examples:
- Batik 123 LG (Batik Air Indonesia)
- Malindo 123 LG (Malindo Air)
- Prosper 123 LG (Super Air Jet)
To ensure consistency across our operations, please format your callsign using the following structure: <Airline> <Your flight number> followed by LG

- Lion Inter 006 LG
- Malindo 201 LG
- Prosper 991 LG
What about regional variations like Batik Malaysia?
Use the Malindo callsign for all Batik Malaysia liveries, including the Boeing 737 MAX 8.
Do not use "Batik" for Batik Malaysia aircraft.

Flight Activity and Leave Policy
Will I be removed if I’m inactive?
No. LGVA does not remove members for inactivity, even for long periods (months or a year). We understand that real life comes first.
Do I need to report if I will be inactive?
Yes, please inform staff so we can note your status. This helps us manage your PIREP activity and membership correctly.
Are members required to fly regularly?
No. There is no obligation. However, active participation (including events) and flight activity are always appreciated.
Flying and Rank Requirements
Do I need to follow LGVA's official route list?
You may fly any real Lion Group route, even if it’s not in our database. Lion Group’s network is huge, so exploring new routes is encouraged.
General Operations
Are manual PIREPs considered inferior to auto-PIREPs?
Not at all. Manual PIREPs are equally valid and accepted, especially for training/casual server flights.
Can I fly non–Lion Group aircraft?
Yes, but only if the route and aircraft are part of LGVA’s approved codeshare network.
We work with several partner virtual airlines, and members are allowed to fly their aircraft and routes as long as they are officially listed in our codeshare agreements.

If the airline or aircraft is not included in our codeshares, then it cannot be used for PIREPs under LGVA.
PIREP System (Auto vs Manual)
Why didn’t my flight appear in the PIREP system?
Auto-PIREP only works on the Expert Server. Flights on Training or Casual servers are not automatically logged
I don’t have access to Expert Server. Can I still file a PIREP?
Your flight will still be fully valid as long as you include:
- Basic flight information
- Route details
- Screenshot of your flight path or route map
Manual PIREPs carry no penalty and are equally legitimate.
Account and Activation
How do I activate my account?
Inform any staff member. We will update your status to “Active.”
Why can’t I log into the PIREP system?
New members are automatically created with “pending” status. Please notify a staff member in our Discord after your first login attempt so we can activate your account.
